An unforgettable day! My husband and I were sharing some time on Berneray, North Uist, in part celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary, but also this was the actual day when he reached “three-score years and ten”!
How we savoured the moment….the day dawned bright and breezy, and we had planned a leisurely walk up the East Shore before enjoying a slap up meal at a local hostelry.
I shall be expanding this post at a later date, for indeed the day deserves many eulogies. But for the moment suffice to say that the weather was perfect, the walk was amazing, the meal was wonderful, and enjoyed with perfect timing before allowing us time to wander back to our amazing base at Berneray YH. What memories!
