I’ve had some very nice comments about some of my work from the excellent Marc Taro Holmes – praise indeed!…Marc is a brilliant Urban Sketcher, and I’m taking his Craftsy class on “Travel Sketching in Mixed Media” I’m always on the lookout for Materials and techniques to extend and improve my mark making, so to learn from such an accomplished Plein Air artist is a great opportunity! This is what Marc said about some of the sketches I posted on the class website as I began taking his class:- “I have to say, such great compositions using the horizontal. I love this format – it’s my absolute favorite right now. You make the eye move over the sketch so well!
